In December 2025, the European Commission published the final Work Programmes of Horizon Europe, outlining call topics for the next two years.

For the forest-based sector, the most relevant opportunities are concentrated in Clusters 4, 5 and 6, including several Partnerships (Processes4Planet, Built4People, Made in Europe, etc.), the New European Bauhaus as well as the calls from CBE JU. Additional funding opportunities can also be found across the European Innovation Council (Pillar III) and the Clean Industrial Deal.

To help its members and the wider sector navigate these opportunities, the FTP Secretariat has carefully curated a selection of the most relevant calls. This edition features 110 calls representing a combined budget of €3.4 billion.
