FTP at EuroNanoForum 2017

Advanced materials and nanotechnologies are key enabling technologies for the innovation portfolio of the forest-based sector. Having a strong competence in these areas has enabled the sector to provide powerful solutions to societal needs. FTP Managing Director Johan Elvnert stressed this point during the session   Advanced materials and nanotechnologies for a bio- based and circular economy at the bi-annual European conference on nanotechnology EuroNanoForum 201721-23 June 2017, in Valletta, Malta.

The conference hosted many impressive speakers, such as Professor Valeria Nicolosi, who talked about the 500 compounds that now, just like graphene, can be exfoliated into single-atom layers and that will offer fantastic new functionalities to the European industry. In its 8th edition, EuroNanoForum was organised under the auspices of the Maltese Presidency of the European Union.
