FTP is currently revising its SIRA, and the fourth edition, the FTP SIRA 2040, is expected to be adopted and published in 2027. The SIRA plays an important role in mobilising extra resources and defining the trans-national R&I collaboration that FTP represents. It also helps researchers, policymakers, industry and forest owners to better understand each other.  

The new SIRA edition will be organised around 5 Missions, 14 Objectives, and 50 Actions.

Input from our stakeholders is essential to ensure that the new document reflects actual priorities, challenges, and opportunities. In this 2nd open consultation, we invite stakeholders to review the draft Objectives and Actions and provide constructive suggestions.

The deadline to complete this questionnaire is 30 June 2026.
