Katariina Kemppainen, SVP, Group R&D at Metsä Group, steps down as Chair of Forest Sector Platform to take the Chair seat in Biobased Industries Consortium (BIC).  

“It has been two intensive and stimulating years as Board Chair of Forest Sector Platform, but having two Board Chair assignments is one too many, so it was time to step down as Chair of Forest Sector Platform. I will however remain as Board member” said Kemppainen.

Johan Elvnert, Secretary General of Forest Sector Platform, thanked Kemppainen for her contribution as Chair:
