As part of the EU’s public consultation on its revised Bioeconomy Strategy, FTP has submitted its input to highlight the central role of the forest-based sector in driving a sustainable, circular, and competitive European bioeconomy by:

• Removing barriers and creating a level playing field
• Supporting research, innovation and skills
• A Broad Scope for the Biotech Act
